Benit, Hermienne born abt 1868 died 30 Oct 1889 age 21 buried in St. Paul’s Cemetery Ireton IA as listed in the WPA 1939 Index, no headstone.

Note: From the Benit names in the Sioux County IA cemetery index, the only logical family connection is that she was the daughter of Joachim Hinrich Benit 1845 and Catherina Margertha ‘Margaret’ Wendt 1836-1902 (see her obit) . She would have had three brothers, Henry 1863-1953, Carsten 1865-1948 and John Herman 1867-1953.
