JOHN VANDER HOORN -
- Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church on Friday afternoon, November 8, for John Vander Hoorn, 67, who died Monday afternoon of a heart attack while he was working in the garden at his home. Rev. John Roggen officiated at the services and burial took place at the community cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Wm. De Bruyn.

Survivors include a brother, Joe, of Artesia CA and two sisters, Mr. Arie Ravensawwy of Ireton and Mrs. Evert Veenendaal of Norwalk, CA. A sister, Mrs. Wm. Westerbeek died just three weeks ago following a heart attack. Vander Hoorn made his home with the Westerbeek family.
