Marcella Frances Hansen, 88, of Le Mars and formerly of Alton, died Wednesday, December 15, 1993 at Floyd Valley Hospital, Le Mars.

Services were held Saturday, December 18 at 10:30 A.M. The Reverend Ronald J. Reicks officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, Le Mars.

Mrs. Hansen was born September 25, 1905 in Alton, the daughter of James and Anna (Nothe) Kontz. She married William V. Hansen January 26, 1926 in Alton. He died May 26, 1980. She lived most of her life in Alton.

Mrs. Hansen was a member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society.

Survivors include a sister, Florence Treinen of Le Mars and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
