Cornelius Van Tol, Doon, Dies Monday Cornelius Van Tol, 87, of Doon died at the MPC Hospital iu Rock Rapids on Monday following a long illness. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church of in wood with the Rev. Martin Gritters officiating. Burial will be at the Richland Cemetery under the direction of porter Funeral Home.

Mr. Van Tol was born Dec. 6 1882 in the Netherlands. He married Elizabeth Vander Lugt on Feb. 24, 1908. She died April 11, 1933. Later he roamed Cornelia Niemeyer on Dec. 20, 1935. she died on June 10, 1948. He farmed in the Doon and Inwood areas before retiring to Doon.

Survivors are three sons, Arie of Doon, Hubert of Grand Rapids, Mich, and Cornie of Inwood; five daughters. Mrs. Case Feikema, Luverne, Minn. Mrs. Gerrit Hoogland of Pipestone, Minn.-, Mrs. Arnold
Feenstra of Rock Rapids, Cora Van Tol of Doon; Magdalene Van Tol of Grand Rapids, Mich, one step-daughter, Alice Neimeyer of Doon; two step-sons, Henry E. and Edward Neimeyer of In wood; 40 grandchildren, 51.great-grandchildren; one brother and sister in The Netherlands and one- brother in Australia.
