Darrell A. Tverberg, 80, died Monday June 13, 2016 at the Dougherty Hospice House. He was born on Nov. 13, 1935, in Hudson, S.D. He married Barbara Huls on May 12, 1961 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. He worked for the City of Sioux Falls in the Transit Department as a bus driver.
His wife preceded him in death.

Darrell is survived by his children; Cindy (Robert) LaBerge, Gene (Julie) Tverberg, and Chad (Melissa) Tverberg; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation was held Wed. June 15, 2016 at the Heritage Funeral Home with a wake service at 6:30 p.m.
