Heather Marie (Dalton) Cummings 36, of Rock Valley, IA, formerly of Grand Island, NE. died Friday May 27, 2016 with her loving family at her side.
A celebration of life was held on Friday June 3, 2016 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo officiated. To honor her love of the "Beatles" Beatles Rock Band, casual attire was encouraged.

Heather was born Oct. 22, 1979 in Grand Island, NE. the daughter of Rick and Deb (Geer) Dalton.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Cummings; children, Destiny Burnett, Nova Ann Burnett, Michael Shawn Burnett, Caiden Alexander Cummings and Addilae Marie Cummings; her parents, Rick and Deb Dalton of Grand Island; her sister, Heidi (Jamie) Taylor of Grand Island, her brother, Brent (Tachia) Dalton of Bondurant, IA; her grandma, Jeanette Geer of Illinois and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Doris and Gary Marshall, Roger Geer and aunt Darlene Jones.
Heather was raised and received her education in Grand Island attending Grand Island Senior High. Following high school she attended Central Community College. On April 2005 she was united in marriage to Charles Cummings. They lived in Grand Island and Heather worked for the family restaurant, "The Farmer's Daughter". They moved to Rock Valley, IA in Dec. of 2014.

Heather was founder of "Bully Proof" helping children with coping tools. She was a member of the Faith Reformed Church of Rock Valley. She adored children, loved gardening and loved the Beatles and attending concerts. She loved her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her free spirited joy of life.
