Judith A. "Judie" Miller, 76 of Omaha, NE, formerly of Ireton, died Tues. May 24, 2016 at a Sioux City hospital. Private family services will be held July 30.

Judie was born July 28, 1939 in Ireton, the daughter of Kenneth W. and Frances G. (DeRaad) Miller.
She graduated from Ireton High School in 1957. After graduating from Iowa State University in 1961, she began her career in home economics education in Ashland, Ohio. Judie was most proud that she established a dietician consulting service in Portland, OR. For the last 32 years she made her home in Omaha.

Judie loved to read and loved music. Most of all she loved being with her family.

Survivors include five siblings, Dick (Sheryl) Miller of Ireton, Denny (Linda) Miller of West Lafayette, IN, Margi (Mark) Banner of Northville, MI, Bonnie (Dirk) Lohry of McCook Lake, S.D. and Ken "Buzz" (Bethia) Miller, Jr. of Middleton, OH; and 18 nieces and nephews and their families.
