Paul H. Haage, 34, of rural Le Mars, Iowa, died in a tractor accident on Saturday, June 13, 1992, near Le Mars.

Services were held on Tuesday morning, June 16, 1992, at John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Preston Township, rural Akron, Iowa, the Reverend Jack Hebard officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Mr. Haage was born September 4, 1957, at Le Mars, the son of Harvey and Amanda (Popken) Haage. He graduated from Akron High School in 1975, and married Galene Eller on September 3, 1988.

He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, and a past board member. He was a member of Pheasants Forever, and a hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Christina (Tina) Haage, of Le Mars; his mother, of Le Mars; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Julie Haage of Le Mars; and a sister and brother-in-law, Paulette and Marion Shappell of Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father, last year.
