Miss Wilma Jean Haarsma, 40, formerly of Orange City, died September 21 at a nursing home in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. September 24 in the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend John Hellinga officiated. Burial was in Sherman Township Cemetery near Maurice under direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home of Orange City.

Miss Haarsma was born December 9, 1932, at Maurice. She was a registered nurse and formerly was employed by Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Survivors include her father, Peter Haarsma Sr. of Maurice, brother, Henry of Orange City, Andrew and Peter Jr., both of Hartley and Lee of Wyoming, Michigan, and sisters, Mrs. Mark (Mary) Huibregste of Ostburg, Wisconsin, and Miss Ruth Haarsma of Wheaten, Illinois.
