Miss Jennie Haas, 75, dies February 14

Funeral services for Miss Jennie Haas, 75, who died Tuesday February 14, after a heart attack, at her home north west of Rock Valley, were at 9 a.m. Thursday, February 16, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Reverend Edward Hoffman officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Miss Haas was born April 8, 1885, at Marcus.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs Vincent Smith of Alvord, and four brothers: John of Iowa Falls, Fred of Omaha, Joseph and Jerome, both of Inwood.

Pallbearers were Michael Cullinan, Claire Barry, Clarence Keegan, Joe Hevern, Martin Cullinan and Paul Heffernan.
