Cyrus Theodore Youngkin

Cyrus Theodore Youngkin, 86, of Hawarden, died Saturday, March 28, 1987, in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in the United Methodist Church in Hawarden. Rev. Paul Hansen officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden.
Mr. Youngkin was born August 25, 1900, in Minot, ND. At the age of 5, he moved with his family to Hawarden. He married Mabel Wood February 3, 1918. The couple made their home in Hawarden where he owned and operated the Ford Motor Agency and later the Coast-to-Coast Store until retiring. Mrs. Youngkin died September 14,1978. Mr. Youngkin was a member of United Methodist Church in Hawarden.
Survivors include three sons, Theodore of Studio City, CA, and Lloyd and Ellwood, both of Hawarden; two daughters, Mrs. Gene (Louise) Younie of Fort Collins, CO, and Mrs. Scott (Marjorie) Younie of Hawarden; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
