Charles Stanley Finn was born November 26th, 1869, at Spring Green, Wisconsin, where he lived until he was five years old at which time his parents moved to Alcester, South Dakota, where he grew to manhood and entered business which he continued until 1902.

He then moved to Beresford, South Dakota, and lived there until 1908,when he went to Elkader, Iowa, where he resided on a farm until 1911.He then moved to Austin, Minnesota, where he engaged in the hardware and implement business until the fall of 1919 when he disposed of his business and went with the Deere & Weber Company, of Minneapolis, as salesman and was later promoted to District Representative with Evan Claire, Wisconsin, as his headquarters where he resided until January 20th, 1930, at which time he passed on at the age of 60 years, one month and 25 days, from a heart attack, never having been sick before in his life.

He was married on March 14th, 1891, to Miss Rosella Paige of Elkader, Iowa, and to them were born two sons and two daughters.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, two sons, Warner of Colfax, Wisconsin, and Clifford of Durand, Wisconsin, two daughters, J. Violet Bomgaars and Winifred J. Bomgaars, both of Hull, Iowa, ten grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. C.W. Finn of Alcester, South Dakota, two sisters, Mrs. Amy Mitchell of Alcester, South Dakota, and Mrs. Oscar Hall of Harrisburg, South Dakota besides his many relatives and friends.

He was a member of the Masonic Organization of Austin, Minnesota, and also of the Elks.

Funeral services were held under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge of Hull, Iowa at 1:30 P.M. Friday from the M.E. Church, Reverend Edge of Sheldon presiding. Interment was made at Hope Cemetery.
