Joseph Butler died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter De Vries, residing three miles north of town. He was 80 years of age and death was due to the infirmities incident to one of his years. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Rev. Mark Masters, pastor of the M. E. church, preaching the funeral sermon. The deceased had been a resident of Sioux county for over twenty-five years. His wife died last spring.
