DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. TED FINNIE PASSED AWAY SUNDAY EVENING

Barbara Jean Finnie, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Finnie, passed away about 8 o’clock Sunday evening at the Methodist Hospital in Sioux City, following a brief illness. The child was taken ill suddenly early that morning with throat trouble and as her condition grew worse, Mr. and Mrs. Finnie decided to take the child to Sioux City for medical treatment. About a half hour after they arrived at the hospital the child passed away. It was not definitely decided just what was the cause of her death.

Funeral services were held at 2:30Tuesday afternoon at the Associated Church with Reverend T.H. Harding in charge. Interment was made in the Grace Hill Cemetery.

Barbara Jean was born October 17, 1932, and passed away July 8, 1934, being 1 year, 8 months and 21 days old. Besides her parents she is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.R. McDonald and R.H. Finnie. Sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved parents in the loss of their only child.
