Charles Yockey

On Friday evening last the sad intelligence came to the daughters of Mr. Charles Yockey that their father had passed away. Mr. Yockey’s home is at Stafford Ohio. The many friends of the sisters residing here, extend to them their sympathy.
A widowed mother is all that remains at the old homestead, where once joyous hearts were wont to gather around the family hearthstone. In the death of the husband and father, the family circle is broken for the first time; but as the years hit by the sad thought is brought more vividly to each ones’ mind, that the circle must contract as the years come and go.
A mother with eight children,7 girls and 1 boy survives, Miss Rose being the youngest.
