Services were held January 6, at 10:30 A.M. at the Canton Lutheran Church at Canton for Wayne Herbert Earll.

Mr. Earl was born April 13, 1896 at Hawarden Iowa. He graduated from Hawarden High School and attended officers training center at Des Moines, Iowa. In 1923 he married Louise Onken who passed away in 1924

In 1938 Mr. Earll married Mae E. Reierson of Canton, South Dakota. They made their home at Hartley, Iowa for 12 years where he was in the clothing store. He was Post Commander and active in the American Legion there. The family moved to Canton where Mr. Earll was in the clothing business until his retirement in 1963.

He passed away January 2, at Sioux Falls Hospital.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Wayne of Lodi, Ohio, and David of Canton, one sister Mrs. O.L. Grantham of Detroit, Texas, two brothers Elmer of Rochester, Minnesota and Berton of Des Moines, Iowa, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
