AGED RESIDENT CALLED

Theodore Mulder died Thursday, April 27, 1922, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Strandstra, in Rock Valley, his death being due to the natural decline of old age.

Mr. Mulder was born in Holland, April 23, 1838, and at the time of his death was eighty-four years and three days old. The greater part of his life was spent in his native land, Holland. He came to this country with his family in 1892, and located in Plymouth county where he lived for several years. Eight years ago he moved to Sioux county and had since lived in this vicinity.

He leaves three sons and two daughters, Nick, of Rock Valley; Peter, of Merrill, Ia.; John, of Sioux City; Mrs. Wm. Strandstra, of Rock Valley; and Mrs. John Herman of near Inwood. His wife preceded him in death seventeen years ago.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Christian Reformed church, and the remains were taken to Valley View Cemetery for burial.
