Mrs. Romkje Haack nee Talsma, was born July 24, 1880 in Oosterlittcas, Vriesland. She came to America in 1907. On March 5, 1908 she married John Haack.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the First Reformed Church with Reverend M. Lysen officiating and burial taking place in the Hospers Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Tillie, Mrs. Bryon Hougen of Cedar Rapids, and three sons: John of Hospers, Clarence of Primghar and James of Hospers.
