Mr. and Mrs. John Haack, Sr., was visiting their children at Cedar Rapids, when they received a call informing them of the death of their granddaughter, little Sheryl Renee, the 5-week old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Pearl Haack who passed away very suddenly while the parents and older brother went to Sheldon on Friday. The baby had not been sick at all therefore the passing was a severe shock.

Funeral services were held at Primghar Sunday afternoon with burial at the Hospers Cemetery. The Hogan family of Cedar Rapids also attended.
