From the Rock Valley Bee, April 14, 1922:

Word was received in Rock Valley the first of the week of the death of Jake Luinstra at Little Falls, N.J. Mr. Luinstra died Friday morning [April 7?]. The evening before, he had driven to town and as he was getting out of his wagon, the team became frightened and started to run. Mr. Luinstra was thrown under the wagon, the wheels passing over his body, resulting in fatal injury. Mr. Luinstra formerly lived in Rock Valley before going to New Jersey, and has a number of friends and acquaintances here who will regret to learn of the sad accident.

TAXI RAN OVER AND KILLED HIM

Word was received here from friends that Jake Landstra who formerly resided here and for a time was a cream hauler for the local creamery and a few years ago moved to New Jersey was killed by a taxi running over him at Patterson N.J., last week.

[The correct surname is probably Luinstra; there was at least one other Luinstra family living in Sioux County at this time.]
