From the Sioux County Index (Hull), April 7, 1922:

Mrs. Boggess Is Dead

Mrs. L. J. Boggess who for several years past has been a sufferer from dropsy, died at her home in Hull last Monday at 1:30 o'clock p.m.

Trintje Albertus was born April 8, 1873 and was therefore within a few days of 48 years old. On April 5, [line obscured] Mr. L. J. Boggess. They have lived in Hull for the past fifteen years and have conduced the Lincoln Hotel the entire time and made many friends.

Funeral services were held at the home at 1 o'clock, Thursday after which the remains will be taken to Alvord for burial.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters and eight brothers; Namely U. Albertus of Rock Rapids, Ia.; Mrs. H. H. Stehrenburg of Thompson, Ia.; O. Albertus of Dolan, S.D.; Will Albertus of Alvord, Ia.; John Albertus of Clark, S.D.; Mrs. (Rev.) J. D. Bohen of Canton, S.D.; Hans Albertus of Canton, S.D.; Fred Albertus of Blundt, S.D.; Geo. Albertus of Hull; and Peter Albertus of Wisner, Neb. The Index joins in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved husband and relatives.

However, the accompanying gravestone photograph says Trintje M. wife of L. J. Boggess, same birth and death dates.
