Herman Zwak

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed church in Rock Valley at 1:30 p. m. October 23 for Herman Zwak, 71, of Rock Valley, who died at his home Saturday. Services were conducted by the Rev. Leonard Van Drunen and burial was made in the Valley View cemetery at Rock Valley. Mr. Zwak was born October 15, 1897, in the Netherlands and was married to Lucy Van Maanen December 2, 1920 at Rock Valley. She preceded him in death in 1966.
Survivors include three sons, Gerrit and John of Sioux Falls and Herbert of Platte, S. D.; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Hecht of Sioux Falls and Mrs. Simo Vogelzang of Rock Valley; 26 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, six brothers and; two sisters.
