Mrs. D. Zwagerman, residing near Middleburg, suffered a stroke of paralysis at 4 o'clock in the afternoon last Thursday and died the following day at 11 o'clock in the forenoon. Deceased was a native of Germany, a devoted Christian and was 64 years of age. She was a lady much respected by those who knew her best and her death is deeply mourned. The funeral was held on Monday at Middleburg and the services were conducted by Rev. Burgraaf. The church was filled to overflowing with mourning friends. The remains were laid to their final rest in the Orange City cemetery.
