Anne Gilbert, 81, Yankton, South Dakota, died April 16 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Yankton. Services were April 11 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11 A.M. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Granville, at 3 P.M. following a rosary and a short prayer service in St. Joseph Church.

Mrs. Gilbert was born April 14, 1899 in Granville to Nicholas and Mary (Kass) Graff. She married Franklin Gilbert in 1919 in Omaha, Nebraska. He died in 1929. She lived in Omaha until 1960 when she moved to Yankton.

Survivors are six sisters, Mrs. M.W. (Ida) Hughes, Sacramento, California, Mrs. J.S. (Mary) Counsell, Yankton; Mrs. Bruce (Rosalia) Vosburg, Granville; Mrs. M.E. (Blanch) Woodford, Omaha; Mrs. Lyle (Mildred) Stull, Storm Lake; and Mrs. Donald (Colleen) Bartz, Flint, Michigan; and two brothers, Omer Graff, Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Kenneth Graff, Lake View, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and three brothers, William, Clarence and Edgar.

Pallbearers were Lawrence Spieler, Arnold Nemmers, Clau De Hemmea, Wally Shafer, Ted Vosburg and N.T. Mc Donald, of Yankton.
