Rites at Sheldon for Mrs. Susan Full

Funeral services were held Saturday ~ morning at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheldon for Mrs. Susan Full, 87 years and 11 months of age.

Mrs. Full died from a heart attack Wednesday February 29 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Will Boelens of Dell Rapids, South Dakota. Reverend Hyland officiated at the Requiem Mass and burial was in St. Anthony's Cemetery at Hospers.

Susan Thill was born April 15, 1868 at Caledonia, Minnesota, daughter of Clemens and Frances Thill. After her marriage to Ferdinand Full the couple lived on a farm northeast of Granville, where Mr. Full died in 1904. She moved to Sheldon where she lived for twenty years and for ten years assisted her son Arthur care for his family of nine children after the death of his wife. She spent the past year with her daughter Mrs. Eda Pohlen and Mrs. Bill Boelens.

Surviving are 5 daughters and 2 sons, namely, Mrs. Eda Pohlen of Canby, Minnesota; Mrs. Emil (Leona) Bunkers, Mrs. William (Caroline) Boelens, Dell Rapids, South Dakota; Arthur of Alton; Mrs. Otto (Lottie) Hodapp, Mrs. Tony (Almira) Auchstetter and Clem Full of Granville; 43 grandchildren; 100 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Joe Pohlen and 3 sons: Edward, Raymond and Otto. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons: Ferdinand, Raphael, James, Alvin, Mark, and Arthur Full and active pallbearers were grandsons Magnus Pohlen, Clarence Pohlen, Harold Bunkers, Conrad Hodapp, Kenneth Full and Ronald Boelens.
