Funeral Services Held Yesterday For Ed Beimers 1900-1967 Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed church here at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, for Edward Beimers 67, longtime resident of Sioux Center, who died at the Sioux Center Community hospital Sunday after a short illness. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Richard De Ridder and burial was made in the Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral home.

Mr. Beimers was born May 26, 1900, in the Netherlands. He was married to Allie Knuebel December 21, 1921. in Sioux Center and they farmed near here until retiring and moving into town. Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Wein Vander Zwaag of Middleburg and Mrs. Bob Malischof of Sioux City; two sons, Lloyd of Maurice and Thurlow of Sioux Center; two brothers Paul of Sibley and Gerrit of California; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
