Services Held For Mrs. May Linton

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 26 for Mrs. May Linton, 84. at the Doon Congregational church with Rev. N. A Price officiating. Burial was at the Doon cemetery. Mrs. Linton died at the Sioux Center hospital of heart trouble Saturday, Dec. 22. Mrs. Linton was born in Cedar county on May 22. 1872. She married Frank Linton Feb. 23, 1889, and then came to live in Lyon county. Her husband preceded her in death in 1933, and also a daughter Hazel, ( Mrs. Troy Barb).

Survivors include two sons, Walter and Howard of Sioux Falls, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one sister, Miss Lucy Gano, ?? Alcester, S. D.
Pall bearers were William Lehman, Fred Stengel, Sam Ketal , Adolph Anderson, Tim Rohwellar, and F. P. Lehman.
