Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van't Hof, Louis Van't Hof and Mrs. Jake Hofmeyer and Mrs. Gt. Oldenkamp attended the funeral May 13 of Gerrit Fonkert at Newkirk Reformed Church.

Mr. Fonkert passed away May 11 at the home of his son, his only child, at Dawson, Minnesota, with whom he had made his home since Mrs. Fonkert's death many years ago.

Mrs. Fonkert was formerly Jennie Ver Maas of Middleburg, sister of Mrs. Gt. Oldenkamp of Orange City. His parents were Pieter and Alice (Van't Hof) Fonkert.
