From the Sioux County Index, March 4, 1921:

Mrs. Rev. Weersing Dead

Mrs. J. J. Weersing died at her home here in Hull, Tuesday noon, after a long illness of heart trouble. Funeral services were held Wednesday, at 12 o'clock at the parsonage, and at 12:30 at the Christian Reformed church, and the remains were taken the same day to Holland, Mich. for burial. The Reverend and family have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.

Obituary

Mrs. Cornelia Weersing, nee Terpstra, was born September 26th, 1880, near Holland, Michigan, where she lived and grew to womanhood. On May 30, 1906 she was united in marriage to Jacob J. Weersing, and to this union six children were born, namely: Jacob, Harold, Fannel[?], Marcelles, Paul and Donald. She died Tuesday noon March 1, 1921. Besides her husband, Jacob J. Weersing and six children, she is survived by her father and mother, four brothers and one sister who all live in Michigan.

Funeral services were held at Hull on Wednesday, and also at Holland, Michigan, on Friday afternoon, where interment was made in Ebenezer cemetery. The services here were conducted by Revs. C. DeLeeuw, H. Kuiper and J. H. Kregel and at Holland, Michigan by Revs. R. B. Kuiper, J. H. Gaerlings and J. C. Schaap.
