It is with grief that we have to chronicle the death of Mrs. Ed Van Steenbergen in the prime of life. True she had been sickly for a long time and death was expected but the thought that our young friend should be bereaved of so good and dear a character, beloved by all who knew her, makes it so painful. The funeral on Thursday was attended by a great concourse of people.

( Sioux County cemetery index has a Van Steenbergen, Winifred B. listed in Memory Gardens, Sioux Center. She was born 1879 and died 1912, so was only 33 years old.)
