A message was received here from Waukegon, Ill., last Sunday stating that Teenes Hofland had been killed while attending to his duties on the railroad. The young man, who is only twenty years old, had been in the employ of the railroad company but four months. On Monday one of his brothers-in-law, S.A. Kalsbeek, went to
Chicago and accompanied the remains to this place, arriving here on Wednesday. The funeral services were held at the S.A. Kalsbeek home and the Christian Reformed church on Thursday afternoon.
