Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Van Bemmel, 63, who died on Tues. at the Sioux Center hospital will be held at the Doon Christian Reformed Church on Friday at 1:30 with a prayer service at 1 p.m. The Rev. John H. Elenbaas will officiate.

Mrs. Van Bemmel died following a lengthy illness with cancer. She was born June 23, 1902 at Sioux Center. Feb. 20 1930 Gertie Van Tol and Albert Van Bemmel were married at Doon where they farmed since.

Survivors include the widower; 4 sons, Henry, Leonard and Alvin of Doon and Marion of Steen; 2 daughters, Mrs. John Vanden Top of Doon and Mrs. Henry M. Van Dam of Chandler, MN.; 4 brothers, Henry of Doon, Cornie of Grand Rapids, MI., Mynard of Sanborn and Wm. of Ripon, CA; 4 sisters, Mrs. Della Lems of Doon, Mrs. Henry Faber of Steen, MN., Mrs. Neal Groendyk of Snborn and Mrs. Ike Steensma of Luverne. Surviving also are 13 grandchildren.
Burial was in Doon's Hillside Cemetery under the direction of Porter Funeral Home.
