Mrs. Eibert R. Fikse, died Friday afternoon following a brief illness.

Mrs. Fikse, nee Eva Goodell, was born July 17, 1892 at Manakato, Minnesota. She was married to Mr. Eibert F. Fikse in May, 1915 at Mankato.

For the past twenty-three years Mr. and Mrs. Fikse have farmed near Sioux Center.

Grief stricken survivors include her husband and father-in-law, Mr. Rein Fikse, two brothers, Mr. Ernest Goodell and Mr. Ansel Goodell, both of Omak, Washington; one sister, Mrs. V.C. Smith of Mankato, Minnesota.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 20, at 1:30 from the home and 2 P.M. from the First Reformed Church, Reverend Brunsting officiating. Interment took place in the Sioux Center Cemetery.

Those who came from a distance to attend the last rites included Mr. and Mrs. George Myer and Mrs. Frank Myer of Le Mars, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith, Miss Marie Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Hill, and Mr. and Mrs. Beullow of Mankato, Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Beek and son and Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Damsteeght of Waupon, Wisconsin.
