Funeral services for Eibert Roy Fikse were held Saturday, January 14, at 2:00 at the Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Home with Reverend H. Brower officiating.

Burial was in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery, Arrangements were by Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Service.

Mr. Eibert Roy Fikse passed away suddenly Wednesday afternoon at his home in Le Mars. He had reached the age of 63 years, 3 months and 18 days.

Mr. Fikse had farmed near Sioux Center for many years and after the passing away of his first wife, Eva (Goodell) Fikse, he retired, later moving to Le Mars where he married Hulda Meyers. It was there he continued to live until his sudden passing.

Until the time of his death, Mr. Fikse was engaged in sales work in which he made many friends and associates.
