Requiem Mass was said at Sacred Heart church, Alvord this (Monday) morning for Mrs. Andrew Kippley, Doon, who died Friday. The services were at 10 a.m. and burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. The Rev. Father Charles Borman officiated.

Mrs. Kippley was 69 years of age. She had been ill for an extended period and had been at a Rock Valley nursing home for the past two years. She had been born in Doon on July 23, 1896. Her marriage to Andrew Kippley took place on Jan. 31, 1917 at Alvord.

Surviving Mrs. Kippley are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Langer, Hillman MN.; Mrs. Charles Miller, Hull; two sons, Bernard of Alvord ; Raymond of Worthington, MN. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Steve Paulos, of Rock Rapids. There are 30 grandchildren.
