Friends here were grieved to hear of the death of Miss Esther Jean Beckman daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey and Johanna Beckman of Long Beach CA, which occurred on March 5th. Her death was due to an attack of flu. Charles Beckman of Iowa City was at the house of his parents in CA when his sister died.
