Floreda F. "Flo" Beckman Funeral services were held for Floreda F. "Flo" Beckman, 81, Tuesday, June 15, 1993, at American Reformed Church in Hull with Rev. Gerald Vander Velde officiating. Interment was at Hope Cemetery, Hull.

Mrs. Beckman died Friday, June 11, 1993, at Marian Health Center, Sioux City. Floreda Frances, who was known as "Flo", was born March 28, 1912, at Hull, to Leen and Anna (Bell) Heemskerk. She grew up at Hull. In 1937 she married Wilfred Fredrick William Beckman. They made their home in Hull where they operated Becky's. Mr. Beckman died in October of 1975 at Sheldon. Mrs. Beckman continued in business for a couple more years. In 1979 she moved to Sheldon. She was a member of the American Reformed Church of Hull.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverlyn, and her husband, Robert Hughes, of Petaluma, California; son, Lyle Beckman, and his wife, "Happy" of Sheldon; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, a great granddaughter; and two sisters, Ada Droog, Hull, and Babe Reimers, Boyden. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, an infant great grandson, and two sisters, Max Tamminga and Henrietta Koele
