Sam Eppinga died at the farm of his parents, Jacob and Alice (VandenBerg) Eppinga, northwest of Rock Valley Saturday, following a lingering illness.
He was 29 years old, and had lived in this vicinity practically all his life.
Funeral services were held in the home at 12 o'clock and at the Old Reformed Church in Rock Valley Wednesday afternoon, Reverend J. Vander Hoef, pastor of the church, having charge of the services. The remains were taken to the Valley View Cemetery.
The bereaved family have the sympathy of many friends.
