Mrs. Cornelius Elshuis, 60, of Hartley, died October 17 at a Primghar Hospital.

Services were at 1 P.M. October 20 in the Trinity United Church of Christ. The Reverend Bernard Sayler officiated. Burial was in the Hospers West Cemetery.

Mrs. Elshuis, the former Grace Vanden Brink, was born July 25, 1915 at Worthington, Minnesota. She was married December 12, 1935 at Hospers. The couple lived near Phrimghar,Sanborn, Hospers and in Hartley.

She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ and its Ladies Aid and Dorcas Society.

Survivors include the widower; two foster daughters, Mrs. John (Maralene) Alons of Sanborn and Mrs. Don (Joann) Nelson of Rossie; two foster sons, Allen Brink of Sioux City and Stan Brink of Canton; 13 foster grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Sam (Jeanette) Oldenkamp of Orange City and Mrs. Erland (Annie) Osbert of Lincoln.
