Mrs. H.J. Brinks Dies Thursday

Mrs. Henry J. Brinks, 49, died in a local hospital Thursday morning, Jan. 4, at 7:05 o'clock after a months illness. She had been in a critical condition for some time.

Mrs. Christina Brinks was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rouwenhorst, Sr., of Orange City. She is survived by her parents, two daughters, Wilmina, Mrs. Morris Shields of Los Angeles, California and Adeline at home; 3 sisters, Mrs. George J. De Jong, Mrs. Dick Duistermars both of Orange City and Mrs. D. D. De Boer of Alton; and 4 brothers, Herman Rouwenhorst, Henry, Jr. and Lawrence of Orange City and Otto H. Rouwenhorst of Moneta, Iowa. Her husband preceded her in death, on August 23 in Los Angeles, of heart attack, while the family was visiting Mrs. Shield.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6 at 12:30 in the home and at 1 p. m. in the First Reformed church. Mrs. Shields arrived here by plane from California several weeks ago when her mother's illness became critical. Mr. Shields arrived later.
