Funeral service held at Maurice for Mrs. Jessie Jonker Brink. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 26, at the Maurice Reformed Church for Mrs. Henry G. Brink, 79, who died Saturday, March 23, in Grossmann Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart condition.

Reverend David Laman officiated at the funeral. Pallbearers were six grandsons: Russell Van Peursem, Darwin Brink, Rob Brink, Eugene Van Roekel, Wayne Brink and Louis Vander Laan.

Burial was in Sherman Township Cemetery, with Van Etten Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

She was born in The Netherlands, September 3, 1877, the daughter of Henry and Pietje (Miedema) Jonker. She came to Maurice when she was 18 years old, and was married to Henry G. Brink on December 29, 1898.

Mrs. Brink is survived by the following sons and daughters: (Nellie) Mrs. J. Van Peursem of Maurice; Neal Brink of Maurice; (Gertrude) Mrs. Elmer Van Roekel of Maurice; Jake Brink of Maurice; (Henrietta) Mrs. Louis Vander Laan of Beresford, South Dakota; (Alma) Mrs. Joe Vellinga of Tillamook, Oregon; and Norman Brink of Rushmore, Minnesota.

There are 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, John Jonker of Orange City.
