Funeral services for Herbert L. Boyer, whose death in a one-car accident was reported last week, were held at the American Lutheran church in Hawarden last Friday with Reverend Ray Boyens officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home.

Miss Mary Swanson served as organist, and Mrs. Ray Boyens sang "In the Garden" and "How Great Thou Art." Casket bearers were Jerry Boyer, Donald Kelhower, Marvin Waterman, Jr., Rolan Waterman, Alvin Harkness, and Wendell Zoeller.

Note: His parents are Ledru and Ella (Anderson) Boyd. Siblings are Gaile (Boyer) Boyd, Bruce Boyer, and Herbert Boyer.
