MRS P. G. DE JONG
After a long illness, Mrs. P. G, De Jong died in a local hospital early Wednesday morning, February 16. Funeral services will be held Friday February 18, ,in the home at 1 p. m. and in Trinity Church at 1:30. Van Etten's Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Ongna wil officiate at the services.

Martha Noordhoff was born March 5, 1876 in Chicago, the child of Klaas and Grietje Noordhoff. At the age of five she came to Alton and when she was nine the family moved to Orange City She was graduated from North western Classical Academy in an early class. On December 26, 1907 she was married to P. G. De Jong who survives her. Also surviving are one daughter, Greta, Mrs. Fred Bason of Alton, and four step- children: Raymond, Harry Nelson and Miss Nellie De Jong all of Orange City. She had nine grandchildren
