No newspaper obit found for Mrs. Jeannette De Cook, nee Jeanette De Jong. The Orange City Dutch paper is not on line, and the Alton Democrat it missing that week. She is listed in the Sioux County cemetery index as Jeannette De Jong De Cook born 1875 – 21 Jan 1919. Buried in West Lawn Orange City. She was married 1895 to Richard De Cook 1874-1972. Her parents were Gerrit De Jongh and Jannethe Van Peursem. A possible obit would be in the de Volksvriend paper of Orange city.
