In the 1930 census of Capel Sioux Iowa is listed her parents Cornie DeBoom born about 1901 and his wife Maggie De Boom born about 1900 and they had three children at the time Sadie 5, Jeanette 4 and Joan F. 1 year. From a family report on ancestry (by others) Maggie Wynia was Joan’s mother born 1900 died 1984.)
