Mr. and Mrs. John G. De Boer and Mr. and Mrs. Gossen De Boer attended the funeral of Mrs. Anna De Boor, an aunt of Mrs. John G. De Boer on Tuesday afternoon. The funeral was held from the home of a daughter in Sheldon and from the Presbyterian Church in Hospers, with interment in the Hospers cemetery. Mrs. De Boor had attained the age of nearly 91 years. Among other relatives from Hull who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Tom De Koster, Mrs. H. P. Vos, Sarah Van Wyk and Mrs.
Clarence Vos.

(A full obituary on Mrs. Anna De Boor was not readily found in the Sioux County papers. An Ancestry report lists he family. She was married to Thomas L. De Boor (see his obit) Antje ‘Anna’ Dyke was born 7 May 1858 Wolvega, Westsellingwerf, Friesland Netherland. She was married in Sioux County IA 17 March 1886 to Thomas L. De Boor and died 5 Feb 1949 Hospers, Iowa. Her parents were Libbe Wybes Dijk 1820-1890 and Geiske Teunis Wynia or Wijnia 1823-1901. Anna was the mother of at least two children Anna 1892 and Grace 1895. )
