William H. Boone, 86, of Sioux Center died Monday, April 6, at Sioux City, Iowa.

Services are Wednesday, April 8, at 1:30 p.m. at Central Reformed Church of Sioux Center, with the Reverend Dennis Wilcox and the Reverend Wayne Sneller officiating.

Boone was born April 11,1900, in Orange City. On March 9, 1921, he married Carrie Ver Steeg at Orange City.

He operated a livestock trucking business for many years and also was the hog buyer for the Farmer's Co-op Society in Sioux Center before his retirement.

He was a member of Central Reformed Church.

Survivors include his wife; nine daughters, Annabel Cochran of Mattawan, Michigan, Joan Den Hartog of Orange City, Carolyn Sneller of Parker, South Dakota, Lillian Hogan of Lakewood, California; Audrey Gesink of Orange City, Judith Friese of Parker, South Dakota, and June VanDen Berg; Karen De Boer, and Ruth Meyer of Sioux Center; three sons, Raymond of Jacksonville, Texas, and Vernon and Marvin of Sioux Center; two sisters; one brother; 48 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
