William N. De Boer. 76, of Rock Valley died Tuesday, October 9. at a hospital In Sioux Falls.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 12. at First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. C. Eric Fennema officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

De Boer was born October 14, 1913, in rural Rock Valley. He served with the U. S. Army during World War II. He married Ann Meendering on April 27. 1944. The couple farmed near Rock Valley until 1974 when they retired. She died December 14, 1977. He had lived at Valley Manor Nursing Home since 1983.

Survivors Include three sons, Robert of Buena Park. California, Kenneth of Rock Valley and Gary of Hull; two daughters, Mary Vance of Littleton, Colorado, and Audrey Johnson of Prescott Valley, Arizona; a brother. Jake of Littleton; and 14 grandchildren.
