Funeral services were held at Trinity Reformed Church at Orange City at 10:30 A.M. January 13 for Mrs. Nick Bogaard, 81, of Orange City, who died January 10 at the Orange City Hospital after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Donald Lenderlnk and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Mrs. Bogaard, the former Kathryn Marie Brolsma, was born April 18, 1891, in Orange City.

She was married to Nick Bogaard March 17, 1917, at Orange City. They farmed northwest of Orange City until 1945 when they retired and moved into Orange City.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Clifford and Milton, of Orange City, two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Ruth) Van Voorhis of Sioux City, Mrs. George (Kathy) Frerichs of LeMars; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. M. Mulder of Sheldon.
