Mrs. Gerrit Boeyink passed away at her home in Sioux Center, Monday evening March 10 after a heart attack.

She had been enjoying good health all day and they were ready to have their evening meal when the attack occurred and she passed on very suddenly.

Mrs. Boeyink, born Magdaline Marie De Pree was the daughter of Reverend and Mrs. James De Pree who was the pastor of the First Reformed Church for 30 years.

She was born in Spring Lake, Michigan in 1871 and came to Sioux Center at the age of ten years.

In 1899 she was united in marriage to Gerrit Boeyink. Four children were born to them, namely: Mrs. M. L. Noble of Minneapolis; Mrs. A. Hasselo of Orange City and Harold of Sioux Center.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Gertrude who died in 1917.

Besides her husband and children she is survived by a sister Mrs. Henry Evenhuis of Chicago and three brothers, John, Neal and Albert DePree. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon from the Central Reformed Church with Reverend Meengs officiating.
